ahnnndd….. spm is *almost* over.

there’s only EST (english for science and technology a.k.a. extremely stupid test ) and accounts objective paper left.

one word. CEEEEEEEELEEEEEEEEEEEBRRRRRAAAAAAAAAATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

————-
i am going to feel so *lost* after spm… yeah… boredom’s gonna set in real quick (from experience, within 2 weeks or so…) cuz i have absolutely no plans at all. but its all good. i really do need a break after spm (just like everyone else….)

the other thing about feeling sesated… in another few days… i won’t be able to declare myself as "pelajar ACS" … owh i know i know… once a ACSian, always a ACSian (same way i still think of myself as teresian =D ), but. BUT. i won’t be studying in ACS anymore. so… i dunnolar… it all seems a little sad.
—————-

quite a few of the teresians are going to stjo for form 6. of the rest, some are leaving to kl, one or two will probably get the ASEAN scholarship, one(i think its only 1) is going to england, one to usa, plus a few will prolly end up in aussie or nz (tho i havent confirmed this).

and my current classmates? matrics for some, kl for others, form 6, and some ASEAN hopefuls(yeah including me)…

the way it is right now… im *trying* to keep in touch with ppl… or at least check their blogs once a while… that are now scattered quite far. there’s ppl in malaysia -grin-, singapore, aussie, nz, england, usa … the world’s really getting smaller and smaller. also, the "spreading out" of my frens and aquaintances will continue even more now that us form 5vers are graduating.

——————
life goes on. life does go on. and mostly, life goes okay. -yep yep me in quite a good mood now… which prolly makes for a boring post… eheh-

as for unpredictable scheduling… so far.. SO FAR… ive managed to avoid having ANYTHING being planned from 5th till 16th. going out for makan with friends, lepakking, etc doesnt count. if my luck holds (and i think it will), theres 9 full, complete days of lazing around and doing nothing. (asides from cleaning my room and clearing my spm books, which i really have to do, cuz if i dont clean my room im liable to fall sick, yes, its that bad.)
——————

lastly: surprise, surprise - a kch friend is related (direct cousin) 2 ppl here. kch-s’wan ties? cool.

MORAL . a vent .

"Amalan rasuah ini menyebabkan golongan yang menerima akan mendapat faedah manakala golongan yang memberi akan berasa teraniaya. Keadaan ketidakadilan sosial ini akan menjejaskan intergrasi nasional…" (Form 5, page 9)

– > i thought the point of giving bribes would be that both sides are happy =P you scratch my back i scratch yours la … heh. Plus, there is already sosial injustice in our system… YB’s children who don’t need it getting scholarships because of contacts…
.
.

yes, ALL Malaysian citizens are very happy. I so agree. And I’m SO thankful to our government.
.
.
"Kita bernasib baik kerana hidup di bawah pucuk pimpinan yang mementingkan sikap keterbukaan"

Yes, our government is very open minded. Very.
.
.
"Sistem kehakiman negara kita yang mantap…" (f5, pg 71)
"Pegawai di jabatan kerajaan sentiasa memanfaatkan masa sewaktu bekerja." (f5, pg 13)

sorry, this post is very pointless. I just needed to vent after memorizing 36 useless "nilai"s and reading through the textbooks… yeah sure, go ahead and ignore it

spm. and after.

Friday, November 18th, 2005

sorry i havent been updating for some time…not like anyone’ll care.
———

tried to ban myself from the ‘net (HAH! like thats actually possible…) but obviously it didnt work. if not i wont be here ONLINE posting this entry . FYI, the "ban" lasted for 9 days. (2 weekends without internet. voluntarily…sorta. wow.)

the "sorta voluntarily" comes like this : - it is now too much trouble to go online with my pc. (right now im using my mum’s laptop…)

what did i do to my pc?
1) disconnect all the wires connecting the pc to the modem. -
2) deleted the modem driver –> bad idea, i dont know wheres the cd needed for reinstallation
3) change the hosts file

therefor…. if i wanna hook up my pc to the internet… its gonna take at least half an hour. which i dont have. so… im usin my mums laptop untill after spm.

5 subjects of spm over already. it wasnt so bad… tho i think i screwed up physics paper 2 and 3. cant worry bout that now tho.. theres still 6 more subjects to go. wish me luck.
——

apparently… im going to be very extremely free after spm. really. FREE. as in NO SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES AT ALL.  for practically the first time in my life… i have a block of  at least 8 days… of pure lazing around. no camps, no competitions, no exams, no trips, no school,  nothing. that is so cool. but i do have some plans….. not that im gonna pressure myself to actually carry em out but there you go….

1) complete my "Wordmutator Clone" . yeah i know its absolutely pointless when the original program is online but what the heck.
2) watch 72 hours of tv. at least. (JOSHUA…. I WANT THAT CD…)
3) attempt to learn C++ … maybe. if i feel hardworking.
4) movie marathon :  LOTR (all 3), Star Wars (yep, all 6), The Matrix (all 3),  Harry Potter
——-

and im going to visit kuching. hope at least a few of my friends will be there… i have some serious catching up to do. need to visit my old school…. *once a teresian, always a teresian*, check out the NEW BAND UNIFORM (dammit i cant believe i dint know it till now!!!)… plus….the absolutely vital trip to THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE and laksa, kolok mee and SARAWAK CLUB BUTTER PRAWNS!
——–

holidays aside… i just realised… that as soon as spm is over… i have finished 5 years of secondary schooling.  ( warning : nostalgic bad poetry ahead. dont say i didnt warn you…)

i look ahead,
to suceed,
i need to reach,
i need to fly.

but looking back,
its hard to leave,
all my friends,
and memories.

now i can start,
to spread my wings,
not knowing what,
time will bring.

one part eager,
one part afraid,
many, many,
challenges ahead.

to all my friends,
its hard to go,
but someday, somewhere,
we’ll say hello.

till that fine day,
we’ll go our ways,
i’ll always remember,
our times together.

for now, Farewell,
to one and all.
Godspeed, i bid,
i knew you as a kid.
Goodbye, i say,
let go of yesterday…
