-stitches-

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

i went to get stitches last night… -the night of the day i found interesting pics in my comp- dont ask me how i got cut , i was swinging my arms then it hit the edge of my cupboard or smth. i am -sad-…

the doctor was… sorta unskilled. he reminded me of our KH sewing classes… lol.

anyway… the procedure was.. (WARNING : BORING )
1) look at the cut, make comments about wound, assure patient(me)that it wont hurt.
2) administer local anaesthetic (ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…..)
3) rip open thread & needle packet, sterelize tweezers (HOPEFULLY), wait 4 local to take effect
4) start stitching (at this point my dad was complaining to my mum about it…)
DO NOT touch the thread with ur fingers, only handle with the tweezers
DO look like you know what your’re doing … please.
5) tie up, put dressing
6) prescribe painkillers…

on a totally different tack, looks like my life is still as full as ever… sigh… plenty of things to do.
including memorize pieces, catch up with homework (hopefully), write that darned article , apply to schools 4 next year…….

searching for ‘any pictures’  ( i was looking for photoes for my moral project… ) instead turned out a whole lot of other ‘bad images’ -shudder- (well, it wasnt a whole lot.. more like  6 or 7 or 8 or 9. but still….im a girl u know. and underaged. ) -

its scary what pictures are in my computer. i dont want to know how they got there.

hrm. someone just told me that there isnt a santubong camp.
thats like sad.
then the only camps in sarawak are stuck in the jungles sumwhere…..
– recalls 18 hour bus trips on rollercoaster roads . (shudder) –

also,
there’s been a complaint over me putting marvin in the legends list. well… everyone does remember him, no? .. so.. he shall remain in the list. ( =P , sorry ..)

-legends (kch)-

Friday, June 24th, 2005

for lack of anything else relevent to say in my blog, i shall put this up (and prolly annoy/embarass/flatter a few ppl while im at it)

rite, as the topic says, LEGENDS, and ill be listing the ppl i consider legends. basically the more memorable ppl that i know.

Angie

the horny hornist ( ‘Blue Day’ guys.. high horns rule only because i get to sleep with the poor hornists are trying to hit and hold super-high trumpet-range notes ), ex-dm (the person that our seniors use to scare us with; as in "when angie was here blah blah blah" ),  the person that provided interesting reading material during the time when we practically lived in the band room- b4 bangkok (ppl were bringing-and fighting over- pillows in the room). one of the most well-known ex-seniors in sts band.

Voon

she was in form 5 while i was in form 1. was so freaking scared of her during marching, but i only attended like 2 marching pracs under her -yep, lousy pushups and all-. most known for her "i joined band because of chicken rice" story.

Marvin

lol. i can pratically see all u teresians groan. yes, i so remember him getting grumpier and grumpier and grumpier. ditto ’somebody’s’ complaints "hes making my section sound bad … that tune he plays is so annoying" … but, a conducter who has a band member goin up to him asking for his autograph? good enuff for me to put here.

Amanda Tan

what can i say? head prefect , band president (by form THREE), violinist in SONS(symphoni orchestra negeri sarawak) , and a genius who happens to be a bit cracked. -images of A.T. grabbing random classmate’s shoulders , shaking it and going "HOW!! PMR SO NEAR LIAW !!" as well as her dancing with brooms -dont ask- , conducting, -sort of- and reciting word for word outta the sejarah textbook- we’d start a paragraph -holding the textbook-, amanda will continue w/out the book…. Plus, anyone who gets 90+ average for mid year, thats a total of over 900 outta a possible 1000 marks.. is a genius.

everythings finally winding down and i can finally concentrate on my studies.

we lost the debate north zone nationals to penang, who went on to win north zone and is goin on to nationals semifinals.

i wont comment any further on the debate/teams,besides saying that i dont think penang will go far in nationals. School level debating, for me, is over.
